Walker Zupan
Theatre Artist | Educator | Program Leader
When we make art in collaboration with others we deepen relationships, affirm our intrinsic sense of self-efficacy and worth, and embody the just worlds we long for.
I design and facilitate arts-based experiences that activate these possibilities. Over the last decade, I’ve taught, made theatre, and run professional learning programs across the United States and internationally.
Recent and ongoing projects include: co-devising and directing Take Me With You, an original Theatre for the Very Young (TVY) performance alongside Dr. Megan Alrutz; directing Pull the Plug, a devised performance about themes of Environmental (In)Justice, co-created with 30 high school students; designing curriculum for and serving as lead facilitator at the Drama for Schools (DFS) Summer Institute for 60+ Austin-area educators.
